Episode #79: Thrush – The Common Hoof Condition

The fact that thrush is common doesn’t mean it’s no big deal.

Mud season, hoof shape and stall rest can increase the likelihood of infection.

In this episode, we chat about the mindset shift I had recently when tackling thrush in one of the horses on our farm, and how it’s been a game changer for my approach to hoof care.
